WHY LOCAL SUPPORT MATTERS
A student can enter YTC knowing very little, learn from someone older, teach someone younger, take responsibility for a program, meet students and engineers they otherwise might never encounter, and begin to see themselves differently.
International and university connections make that path richer. They are not the purpose of this Support page. This page is about the ETHS club, the Evanston community, and the pipeline to success we are trying to create and celebrate.
Any individual YTC program is only as strong as its local support. For ETHS, that means Evanston.
FIVE WAYS TO HELP
YTC Evanston currently runs with almost no administrative infrastructure. The best support either reaches students directly or takes ownership of a clearly defined local need.

Support YTC Evanston →Useful laptops, computers, robotics equipment, tools and technology can become something students learn on, repair, teach with or place back into the community.
Offer equipment →bYTCoin is YTC's recognition layer. Students earn recognition through teaching, mentoring and milestone completion. The coin can unlock experiences and small rewards that make progress tangible without turning the program into a paycheck.

We can use specific adult skills when there is a defined job to own: grants, photography or video, communications, logistics, technology, equipment coordination or another concrete project.
This is not an open-ended volunteer program. The goal is to remove work from the club, not create another layer to manage.

KEEP IT LOCAL + MANAGEABLE
YTC school-club leadership would work with program facilitators to manage the local support and recognition program. That keeps decisions close to the students and keeps the system from becoming another administrative burden.
