At ETHS, students learn engineering, teach what they know, serve their community, and discover that a skill learned after school can matter far beyond the clubroom.

Two relationships show where YTC at ETHS is heading this school year: university students teaching into the network, and ETHS students preparing to teach younger students in Evanston.
Student Makers at Georgia Tech is a registered student organization and a member of the YTC Global Alliance. The group has committed student instructors to support YTC robotics programming in Mexico — one part of a growing teaching relationship between university students and YTC youth.
See the larger network →YTC is developing a weekly after-school program at Foster School in partnership with the school and Camp Kuumba, targeted for the second semester. The proposed model combines in-person and virtual teaching: about 25% of sessions in person and 75% online. ETHS teaching teams would introduce younger students to robotics and to French and French culture, including Haiti. Club sponsor Marie-Edmonde Parisien would participate in the in-person teaching.
